Katia Capellini is currently a Research Engineer at BCL. She gained her Master degree in Biomedical Engineering at University of Pisa in 2016 and she joined the BCL group in 2017. Her main field of research includes ascending thoracic aorta aneurysm characterization and analysis, development of informatics tools for medical imaging analysis, RBF morphing techniques for CFD simulations, ex-vivo characterisation of mechanical properties of biological tissues.
