Marilena Mazzoli is an Early Stage Researcher at BCL. She received the Master Degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Pisa in 2022 and joined the BCL group in the same year. During her Master thesis she developed a novel non rigid registration algorithm which was able to include the supra aortic vessels in the analysis of the thoracic aorta. Her main research interest involves the development of an automated pipeline from CT images segmentation to geometric features extraction and correlation with hemodynamic parameters related with the presence of pathologies.
