Welcome to the Ospedale del Cuore “G. Pasquinucci”, a highly specialised centre entirely dedicated to the diagnosis, care and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.
At the Ospedale del Cuore, born out of the experience of the Apuan Paediatric Hospital (OPA), cardiology and cardiac surgery services are provided for neonatal, paediatric and adult patients, and is home to the Integrated Birth Area with the Toscana Nord-Ovest Local Health Unit for mothers and foetuses with heart disease.
There are also clinical research and bioengineering laboratories within the facility, which are highly integrated with the clinical units.
